Will I ever be a grandmother???
Sunday, July 9th, 2006Hahaha..i came out with this post because I overheard my grandmother’s conversation with her friend (also another freaking strong grandmother-i heard she carried FOUR wood blanket back from china ALONE-excluding her bagages!!!!)
grandmother’s friend :
My daughter-in-law very good, every week cook bird nest for the whole family to eat. My son one bowl, myself one bowl and all the grandchildren each one one bowl!
My health freak grandma :
AIIHHHYOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooo (envious voice) WHAT GREAT DAUGHTER-IN-LAW you have…who pay for it?(a very crucial question cuz if her own son pay means no good)…Everyone one bowl, she herself never eat ah???
Grandma’s friend :
GOT, she got eat also…but she very stingy also la…blablabla
By this time, my coffee is done, so I didn’t get to hear what she complain bout her daughter-in-law.
Moral of the story is, no matter what u do, u not my daughter, u are NEVER GOOD. This makes me think….what kind of mother-in-law will I ever be…hmm..I have a feeling I’ll be a pretty EVIL one…I don’t know…ahha…But I heard from my mom, mother in laws that are born in the year of CHICKEN are CRUEL and EVIL…so…girls out there, before marrying, look and c!!! If inevitable (like the guy so much) , make sure
1) Ur future husband can afford to MOVE TO ANOTHER HOUSE
2) Ur house must be AS FAR AS POSSIBLE frm ur mother-in-law (if possible, different country)
3) Ur future husband CANNOT be MUMMY"S boy..if he is..its better to juz let go…
4) When visiting ur mother-in-law (no choice, CNY mah…) never buy gifts that are TOO expensive (speding too much of her son’s $$) or too cheap (means she’s insignificant)
